Summary: Writing prompts are questions and hypothetical situations that are able to cure writer's block instantly. This book gives you exactly one thousand idea-generating prompts that focus on most memorable days of the year: the holidays. These 1,000 prompts work for blogs, scripts, stories, poems, essays, songs and anything else that requires you to stare down writer's block and start writing!

My thoughts

I think I have now officially read all of Bryan's creative writing prompt books and I am very glad that I did.  (I also plan to read any other creative writing prompt book he puts out.)  He does an amazing job with these.  Not only has he given me plenty of ideas of things to write about, he's encouraged myself and the schoolage children I work with to continue writing.  I encourage anyone who is stuck and needs some help getting their creative juices flowing to take a look at this book or any of his others.
